9th International Festival of Sea Shanty Choirs
Prague, 24. – 27.5. 2018
8th International Festival of Shanty Choirs SHANTYFEST was held in Prague in May 2017 and it was again a big success. Prague citizens and its visitors had the opportunity to listen and to enjoy beautiful shanty songs at the most attractive places in the heart of Prague - Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Wallenstein garden……. Not only the historical setting but also the Vltava river - the theme of many famous songs - created the unique atmosphere of the shanty festival. The audience was charmed by colourful display of costumes, and especially by the excellent performance of shanty participants.
Shantyfest 2017 has become one of Prague´s popular music event.So come and join us at our 9th course of SHANTYFEST 2018 which will také place from
24th to 27th May 2018. !!
